I develop reliable and adaptive intelligence. My research studies how AI systems learn robust representations, build predictive models of the world, reason and act reliably, and allocate computation efficiently. My work spans foundation models, world models, agentic AI, and AI for science and biomedicine.
- Assistant Professor, University of Exeter, Department of Computer Science
